Tsubasa Watase (渡瀬 翼, Watase Tsubasa ) is the younger sister of Aoba Watase who live together with their mother and father, although the latter is presumed dead.
In 2088, Aoba guesses that she should be alive, but she is about 88 years old.

- The name Tsubasa means "wing" (翼).
- Tsubasa's surname Watase means "transit, ford, ferry, cross, import, deliver, diameter, migrate" (渡) (wata) and "swift current, rapids" (瀬) (se).
