The deletion policy of Buddy Complex content.
The deletion of an article removes the entire content. Although any user may mark an article, or image, for deletion (using {{delete}} template), the actual deletion can only be performed by an administrator. Likewise, they can undo a deletion if necessary.
Reasons for deletions
Aside from conflicts with the other rules and policies established on the wiki, articles may deleted for many other reasons.
- Spam
- Fannon
- Content which does not conform specific policies such as (though not limited to):
- Images that do not conform to our Image policy.
- Talkpages against the Talkpage policy.
- Userpages that violate the Userpage policy.
Appropriate Methods for Deletion
If a deletion tag has been place on an article, please ensure that you write a proper description so that any dispute may solely be on that given reason. This discussion may only take place on the article or content's talk page, or on an administrators page.
Important
PLEASE, Do not remove any deletion tags. The only exceptions given is if no deletion rationale exists. If you disagree with the deletion rationale, discuss it on the content's talk page.
If any user removes a deletion tag supported by a valid rationale, his or her actions may be considered vandalism, resulting in a block.
Blanking articles
NEVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE, MAY ANY EDITOR SIMPLY "BLANK" AN ARTICLE!
- "Blanking" a page means that you've replaced the text on a page with either nothing or just a few words.
If you see an article that you believe should be deleted, tag it.
